GILLETTE FUSION "PLAY A CHAMPION WITH DAD" INSTANT WIN GAME AND SWEEPSTAKES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

  1. HERE'S HOW TO PLAY: Beginning 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on 4/16/08, eligible U.S. residents may visit www.GilletteChampions.com and eligible Canadian residents may visit www.GilletteFusion.ca to register for a chance to instantly win a prize and be entered into the Grand Prize drawing. Upon registration, you will be required to indicate Tiger Woods, Roger Federer or Thierry Henry as your "Champion" preference, and if selected as a Grand Prize winner, you will win the opportunity to play and/or meet (as specified by Sponsor) with the Champion named on the entry (subject to verification of eligibility). Once you register, you will receive an Official Game Message. If the Official Game Message includes the words "Congratulations, you've won", you are an instant winner of the prize specified, subject to verification of eligibility. If the Official Message includes the words, "Sorry, you are not an instant winner", or any other message other than stated above, or a blank screen appears, or you do not receive a message, you are not eligible to receive an Instant Win Prize, however, you will be automatically entered in the Grand Prize drawing and the Second Chance drawing to award unawarded Instant Win prizes (with the exception of the drink bottles and soccer balls). Limit one entry per email address per day. If more than one entry is received per person per day, only the first such entry received will be eligible. Instant winners will be determined through random computer generation methodology. Odds of winning an Instant Win Prize will depend upon the time and date of game play. Instant Win Prizes will be delivered in approximately 8 – 10 weeks from the date the winning Official Game Message was received. Game ends at 5:00 p.m. ET on 8/15/08.
  2. ELIGIBILITY: This promotion is open only to residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry, and residents of Canada who are the legal age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside at time of entry. Employees of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and internet agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state, municipal, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law.
  3. GRAND PRIZE RANDOM DRAWING: A random drawing to award 5 Grand Prizes will be conducted on or about 8/19/08 from among all eligible entries received by 5:00 p.m. ET on 8/15/08. Random drawing will be conducted by D. L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this offer. Odds of winning a Grand Prize will depend upon the number of eligible entries received for each Champion.
  4. SECOND CHANCE DRAWING: Unawarded Instant Win Prizes (with the exception of the drink bottles and soccer balls) will be awarded in a Second Chance Drawing to be conducted by D. L. Blair, Inc. on or about 9/12/08 from among all entries received by 5:00 p.m. ET on 8/15/08. Odds of winning via the Second Chance Drawing depend upon the number of eligible entries received and the number of unawarded Instant Win Prizes available.
  5. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: 2,257 prizes with a total approximate retail value of $59,684.75 U.S. Dollars ("USD") are available to be won as follows:

    5-RANDOM DRAW GRAND PRIZES: (3) Tiger Woods Grand Prizes to play golf and/or meet (as specified by Sponsor) with Tiger Woods and (1) Roger Federer Grand Prize to play tennis and/or meet (as specified by Sponsor) with Roger Federer. Each prize consists of a 3-day/2-night trip winner and guest to a sponsor-specified location within the contiguous 48 United States including round-trip coach air transportation for winner and guest from major airport nearest winner's home, hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy), $1,000 spending money for the winner, airport transfers and a chance to play golf and/or meet with Tiger Woods or play tennis and/or meet with Roger Federer (subject to availability). (Approximate Retail Value: $3,800 USD per prize). Note: Based on availability, Roger Federer trip may take place at a sponsor-specified location outside the United States, in which case the winner will receive a 5-day/4-night trip to that location. (1) Thierry Henry Grand Prize to play soccer and/or meet (as specified by Sponsor) with Thierry Henry consisting of a 5-day/4-night trip for winner and guest to a sponsor-specified location in Europe ( possibly Barcelona, Spain) including round-trip coach air transportation for winner and guest from major airport nearest winner's home, hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy), $1,000 spending money for the winner, airport transfers and a chance to play soccer and/or meet with Thierry Henry (subject to his availability). (Approximate Retail Value: $5,500 USD). Winner and guest are solely responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein, including but not limited to meals, additional transportation, souvenirs, travel or other type of insurance, room service expenses and other incidentals and items of a personal nature. The actual retail value of the prize will depend on winner's point of departure/return and air flight price fluctuations. Winner and guest must travel on same itinerary. The opportunity to play and/or meet with a Champion has no retail value and is based on Champion's availability; in the event that this portion of the prize cannot be arranged due to circumstances beyond Sponsor's control, Sponsor will have no obligation to award compensation in lieu thereof but the remainder of the trip will be awarded. Winners may be required to travel as early as October 2008; specific dates of travel are at Sponsor's discretion and are subject to change.

    Prizes are valued in U.S. currency and consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. Limit one Instant Win Prize valued at $30 USD or more per person or household. Unawarded drink bottle and soccer ball prizes will not be awarded.
  6. GENERAL RULES: If potential prize winner of a prize valued at $600 USD or more is a U.S. resident, winner (or parent/legal guardian if potential winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, Prize Acceptance Form and, if legally permissible, a Publicity Release within 5 days of attempted delivery of same. Noncompliance within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected (where applicable). To be declared a winner, residents of Canada must correctly answer an arithmetical skill-testing question and execute a Declaration and Release Form to release Procter & Gamble and its agencies and representatives from liability with respect to contests and prizes within 5 days of attempted delivery of same. Noncompliance within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable, or failure to correctly answer the skill testing question will result in disqualification. If a Grand Prize winner does not return required documents within the specified time period or the prize/prize notification is returned as undeliverable, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. For Quebec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement. Winners will be notified by telephone or mail. Traveling companions of Grand Prize winners (or parent/legal guardian if traveling companion is deemed a minor in his/her state/province/territory of residence) must also complete and return a Release of Liability within the time allotted to the prize winner in these rules. If winner is deemed a minor in his/her state/province/territory of residence, winner's parent/legal guardian will be required to accompany winner on trip and will count as the winner's guest. If a minor is selected as a traveling companion, winner must be his/her parent/legal guardian. All travelers must possess required travel documents (e.g., valid photo ID, passport) prior to departure and agree to depart and return on dates specified by the Sponsor. Winners may be required to travel as early as October 2008; dates of departure and return are subject to change. No substitution or transfer of prize by winner permitted. If winner is not able to travel on dates specified by Sponsor, winner forfeits all rights to the prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value should the prize become unavailable. All taxes and/or duties, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of winner. In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded. By accepting prize, winners (or parent/legal guardian if winner is deemed a minor) agree to hold Sponsor, its directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Winners (or parent/legal guardian if winner is deemed a minor) assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winner's name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, including a winners' list, unless prohibited by law. Entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is deemed a minor) agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, its directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless from and against any and all liability and damages. By participating in this promotion, entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is deemed a minor) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the judges' decisions which are final. In the event there is a discrepancy between these Official Rules and any promotional materials or translated versions of the rules, the English version of the rules shall prevail, govern and control. All material submitted becomes the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prizes. If for any reason, including but not limited to an administrative, printing, production, computer or other error or due to technical difficulties or incorrect announcements of any kind, more winning Official Game Messages are distributed, or more prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded for any prize level, the intended prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all verified prize claims received for that prize level. In no event will Sponsor be obligated to award more than the stated number of prizes. In the event of a technical malfunction or other error regarding the delivery of an Official Game Message, neither the Sponsor nor its respective agents and agencies shall have any liability.
  7. WINNERS: For the names of winners of prizes valued at $25 USD or more, available from 10/6/08 – 10/30/08, U.S. residents may visit www.GilletteChampions.com and Canadian residents may visit www.GilletteFusion.ca.
  8. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited by law, all disputes concerning this Instant Win Game and Sweepstakes will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio without regard to its choice of laws or conflicts of law provisions.
  9. PRIVACY: The information provided for Internet entry will be subject to the Sponsor's Privacy Policy which can be found at http://www.pg.com/privacy/english/privacy_notice.html.

In the event of termination, a notice will be posted online and the drawing to award all remaining instant win and random draw prizes will be conducted from among all eligible entries received prior to termination. Any damage made to the Web Site will be the responsibility of the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like methods of participation will void all such submissions by such methods. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the account holder fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules.
